The call for applications for the selection of 30 PhD students and researchers to participate in the second edition of the Summer School on “Open Innovation Management for a Sustainable Transition" is now officially open. The initiative will take place from June 30 to July 4 and is promoted by the Pillar Training - TTIP Program - ECOSISTER Project.
The Summer School offers a hands-on learning experience and the opportunity to:
- Acquire tools and methodologies for managing innovation in the context of sustainable transition, as well as transferable skills valuable both inside and outside academia—helping to build professional profiles (Innovation Managers) capable of maximizing opportunities within the regional Innovation ecosystem;
- Work in teams alongside some of the most innovative companies in Emilia-Romagna, such as SACMI, Eni, Electrolux, and others, who will present their case studies and share how they are tackling innovation challenges related to the sustainable transition;
- Join the community of PhD students and researchers in the Emilia-Romagna region.
The Summer School is completely free of charge: meals, accommodation, and shuttle service from Bologna-Forlì-Capaccio (and return) will be provided. It will be held at the Foresteria di Capaccio (Santa Sofia - FC) from June 30 to July 4, 2025. The program will be conducted in English and will include lectures, interactive seminars, networking events and discussions with companies from the regional ecosystem.
