PILLAR TECHNLOGY TRANSFER
This is the Community dedicated to the Technology Transfer (TT) Pillar.
The TT Pillar is coordinated by the University of Parma and promotes the relationship between research and industry for the technology transfer towards the ecological transition, also through Open Innovation tools and actions.
IOIP is the International Open Innovation Programme that aims to support companies from the Emilia-Romagna region in addressing specific business challenges by creating strategic connections with other actors in the international innovation ecosystem.
The program is divided into 2 editions, focusing on distinct thematic areas:
1st EDITION
Resources Innovation
It brings together all innovation challenges pertaining to the concept of sustainable life cycle of products and services. The challenges concern the topics of Circular economy and Water Nexus.
2nd EDITION
System Innovation
It focuses on innovation challenges related to sustainable resource management and climate change mitigation. The challenges focus on the topics of Natural Resources & Biodiversity and Climate Change.

Explore the Calls
How it works
1Application
Companies seeking a technological solution within the topics of the current call are invited to submit a challenge proposal with a minimum TRL of 3.
2Call for Companies
The selected companies receive support from ART-ER and technical professionals to better articulate their challenges and launch the call for solvers.
3Call for solvers
Solvers can submit their innovative solutions in response to the call for solvers.
4One-to-one meeting
Upon selection, solvers and companies will be granted access to a dedicated digital platform to facilitate one-to-one meetings and in-depth discussions of proposals.
5Final Event
Both solvers and companies are cordially invitated to attend the internation final event to share the reseults and highlights the most successful partnerships.
